PeopleCert is seeking a Senior Consolidation & External Reporting Associate to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and external reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
You will collaborate with internal teams, contribute to closing processes, and support audits, playing a key role in maintaining high-quality financial reporting and supporting the company’s growth.
As a Senior Consolidation & External Reporting Associate, your tasks will include the following:
- Oversee and coordinate the consolidation process on a quarterly and annual basis in accordance with IFRS.
- Lead the preparation of annual financial statements at stand-alone level under IFRS and local GAAP.
- Act as a key point of contact for all financial reporting matters with the external auditors and other key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the financial reporting and consolidation cycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, finance and tax departments to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting.
- Support junior team members, reviewing their work and fostering their technical development.
What we look offer:
- Minimum of 5 years of overall professional experience, with exposure to areas such as audit, financial reporting, and consolidation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, SOEL, or equivalent) is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Greek GAAP with solid understanding of financial reporting practices.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to ERP systems and financial consolidation tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek (C2 level preferred; LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL is a plus). combined with strong collaboration skills.
- Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check.
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
