We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Business Manager for projects involving earthworks activities. The role involves end-to-end management of small to medium-scale civil works projects, with responsibility for planning, budgeting, execution, resource coordination, and subcontractor supervision, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage earthworks and civil works projects from planning to completion
• Define project budgets, cost breakdowns, and resource requirements during the planning phase
• Monitor and control project costs against budget, identifying deviations and corrective actions
• Organize and coordinate plant, equipment, and site logistics
• Plan and allocate resources (labor, machinery, materials) efficiently
• Manage and supervise subcontractors, including performance, productivity, and compliance
• Monitor project progress, costs, and schedules; identify and mitigate risks
• Ensure adherence to technical specifications, HSE regulations, and contractual requirements
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, and local authorities as required
• Prepare progress reports, site documentation, and cost follow-ups

 
Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Site Engineer in earthworks / civil works
• Experience managing small to medium-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of plant organization and site operations
• Demonstrated ability in resource planning and subcontractor management
• Good understanding of construction methods, productivity drivers, and cost control
• Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel under time pressure
