Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Chemical Commissioning Engineer to join our team.

As a Chemical Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of commissioning activities for chemical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications, operational requirements, and the highest EHS and quality standards throughout all project phases - from construction handover to start-up and performance testing.

Your role will encompass

• Perform hands-on commissioning, testing, and energization of chemical equipment and BOP systems
• Execute start-up activities, system optimization, troubleshooting, and performance testing
• Lead functional and plant performance tests in coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C teams
• Ensure full compliance with EHS requirements, including LOTO, isolations, and work permit procedures
• Supervise commissioning technicians and supplier specialists, ensuring safe and efficient execution of works
• Coordinate all commissioning activities with construction teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Prepare and update commissioning procedures, method statements, and documentation (check sheets, protocols, as-built markups)
• Report progress, technical issues, and commissioning status to the Commissioning Manager

What you bring to the role:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• 4+ years working experience in power stations Chemical Commissioning activities with demonstrable experience
• Strong team spirit, working with an international team and other cultures
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Organizational skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
