YOUR ROLE
- Ensure compliance with safety related processes required to perform work in a safe way.
- Lead the technical team onsite.
- Be the point of contact to customers regarding communication on daily activities and provide them with monthly reporting.
- Responsible for maintenance, repair, and operation of wind turbines.
- Troubleshoot and repairs systems and equipment of the turbine completes preventive maintenance and diagnoses malfunctions;
- Perform preventive maintenance according to maintenance planning schedule.
- Ensure high quality reporting of daily activities, snags and maintenance tasks in accordance with internal requirements including booking of materials.
- Maintain a high standard of the Service point, tools, service vans and manage the local stock.
- Participate in Field training and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues within the team.
- Responsible for a field of expertise and ensuring cross-border communication.
- Development and implementation of operational training.
- Evaluation of defect assessments and development of overarching solutions.
- Consolidation and further development of technical tasks.
YOUR PROFILE
- 6+ years of experience in the wind industry depending on experience and education.
- 2+ years of functional leadership experience.
- Vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields.
- Electrical License that allows you to work autonomously in the turbine-
- GWO certification (Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to guide and mentor other lead technicians.
- Basic knowledge of business operations and performance metrics.
- Ability to work at heights and in remote locations is a must.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Extensive IT competency combined with high experience level in wind turbine IT tools.
- Good English language skills.
