YOUR ROLE

  • Ensure compliance with safety related processes required to perform work in a safe way.
  • Lead the technical team onsite.
  • Be the point of contact to customers regarding communication on daily activities and provide them with monthly reporting.
  • Responsible for maintenance, repair, and operation of wind turbines.
  • Troubleshoot and repairs systems and equipment of the turbine completes preventive maintenance and diagnoses malfunctions;
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to maintenance planning schedule.
  • Ensure high quality reporting of daily activities, snags and maintenance tasks in accordance with internal requirements including booking of materials.
  • Maintain a high standard of the Service point, tools, service vans and manage the local stock.
  • Participate in Field training and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues within the team.
  • Responsible for a field of expertise and ensuring cross-border communication.
  • Development and implementation of operational training.
  • Evaluation of defect assessments and development of overarching solutions.
  • Consolidation and further development of technical tasks.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • 6+ years of experience in the wind industry depending on experience and education.
  • 2+ years of functional leadership experience.
  • Vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields.
  • Electrical License that allows you to work autonomously in the turbine-
  • GWO certification (Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to guide and mentor other lead technicians.
  • Basic knowledge of business operations and performance metrics.
  • Ability to work at heights and in remote locations is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Extensive IT competency combined with high experience level in wind turbine IT tools.
  • Good English language skills.
