PROJECT MANAGER FOR SITE SUPERVISION (CUM ARCHITECT-CIVIL ENGINEER)

About the Role:

Ken International is seeking an Architect/Civil Engineer with a proven interest in managing complex construction projects from start to finish, including site supervision responsibilities. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably at a Senior Architect level with a strong Project Management background. A PMP certification will be considered an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, organization, and control of the project to ensure efficient management of materials and personnel.
• Resolve design and technical coordination issues (e.g., finishes, structure, electro-mechanical, landscape).
• Chair progress and coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders as required.
• Address contractor requests (e.g., time extensions, change orders, variations) and provide recommendations.
• Ensure onsite quality control, including material testing, storage, and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with the project commissioning team to meet world-class quality standards.
• Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction by tracking progress and meeting design expectations.
• Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, inspections, materials, and RFIs while incorporating revisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and best practices in project management and technical engineering.
• Oversee weekly and monthly contractor reports, highlighting areas of concern and action plans.
• Conduct site safety inspections and implement hazard prevention practices.
• Lead snagging procedures post-construction to address defective or incomplete works prior to handover.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven leadership qualities and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Extensive technical management experience in construction projects.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an Architectural or Project Management firm.
• 3+ years of experience in supervision and technical roles.
• Proven track record in technical management and leadership.
