PROJECT MANAGER FOR SITE SUPERVISION (CUM ARCHITECT-CIVIL ENGINEER)

About the Role:
Ken International is seeking an Architect/Civil Engineer with a proven interest in managing complex construction projects from start to finish, including site supervision responsibilities. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably at a Senior Architect level with a strong Project Management background. A PMP certification will be considered an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, organization, and control of the project to ensure efficient management of materials and personnel.
- Resolve design and technical coordination issues (e.g., finishes, structure, electro-mechanical, landscape).
- Chair progress and coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders as required.
- Address contractor requests (e.g., time extensions, change orders, variations) and provide recommendations.
- Ensure onsite quality control, including material testing, storage, and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with the project commissioning team to meet world-class quality standards.
- Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction by tracking progress and meeting design expectations.
- Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, inspections, materials, and RFIs while incorporating revisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and best practices in project management and technical engineering.
- Oversee weekly and monthly contractor reports, highlighting areas of concern and action plans.
- Conduct site safety inspections and implement hazard prevention practices.
- Lead snagging procedures post-construction to address defective or incomplete works prior to handover.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven leadership qualities and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Extensive technical management experience in construction projects.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an Architectural or Project Management firm.
- 3+ years of experience in supervision and technical roles.
- Proven track record in technical management and leadership.
