A Spa Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting clients in order to receive an excellent spa experience. A Spa Receptionist will also be required to manage customer feedback and be an effective sales person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests in an appropriate and timely manner. Create a friendly and welcoming environment for all spa guests
- Ensure that the Reception and Retail area is clean and looks neat for all incoming guests
- Respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff
- Arrange spa appointments and the therapists’ daily schedule in order to achieve maximum resource utilization
- Ensure client experience is proficient including bookings, payments, and consultation forms.
- Manage customer feedback effectively
- Interact and communicate effectively with guests, staff members, interdepartmental colleagues and management team
- Up-sell with latest departmental incentives
- Ensuring staff are providing high levels of service
- Inform management of all guest issues, needed supplies or equipment related issues
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by the management team
- Report accidents, maintenance issues, or other incidents
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms. An additional language is a plus
- Experience in a similar role, preferable in a 5* Hotel, or at least keen interest in wellness and spa services
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as well as problem-solving abilities to effectively communicate with guests, staff members and management.
- Attention to detail and ability to consistently work in a professional manner
- Excellent grooming standards
- Good computer knowledge
- Sales Experience. Motivated by exceeding sales targets.
