DATA ANALYST

PROFILE
We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst with excellent statistics and SQL skills to join our technical team and help drive insights out of a wealth of data points relating to developer activity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide quantitative analysis and insightful interpretation of the data for validating hypothesis on business strategies and performance and provide decision-making insights.
• Analyze and effectively communicate insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders to help them make better-informed business decisions.
• Work with programming analytical tools and be involved in the design of algorithms, metrics and data insights.
• Undertake projects requiring data collection and processing from heterogeneous sources.
• Design dashboards, generate reports and meaningful insights.
• Contribute to establishing a strong data culture across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Data Science or proven strong related background/experience;
• 3+ years working experience in a reporting, statistical or quantitative role will be considered an asset;
• Strong SQL skills, highly advanced with MS-Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros);
• Advanced working experience with Microsoft Power BI (or other dashboarding tool);
• Advanced working experience of using statistical software and techniques, such as Python (Pandas and other libraries);
• Data modeling skills will be an asset;
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important tasks;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Strong verbal and written communications skills;
• Fluency in English language.
