What You Will Achieve

The IT Operations and Global Command Center organization delivers excellence in the pursuit of those breakthroughs through industry-leading infrastructure operations performance. We ensure optimal performance of the networks, cloud and on-premise services that power Pfizer's business processes. We strive to revolutionize service dependability by applying advanced analytics to drive predictive detection, identifying potential issues with our services and intervening before they disrupt our business. ROLE SUMMARY

The Sr. Associate, Business Analyst, will be responsible for evaluating services and identifying opportunities for improvement.

You will help develop roadmaps, documentation, and user enablement materials to promote standardization, efficiency, and adoption. You will monitor key performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making and contribute to the design and rollout of infrastructure improvement solutions.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate existing services and processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in developing roadmaps and documentation to drive standardization and efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs and service performance metrics to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Create user guides, training content, and enablement materials tailored to infrastructure services and tools.
  • Develop mockups, process flows, or wireframes to visualize technical or service design solutions.
  • Support proof of concept efforts, pilot rollouts, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure that proposed infrastructure solutions align with operational standards, compliance requirements, and business goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines such as Information Management, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in developing IT roadmaps, technical documentation, and user enablement materials to drive standardization and adoption.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and contribute to IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, SQL) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with monitoring and interpreting KPIs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and infrastructure improvement methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated experience working in diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Skilled in process analysis and performance metrics, with a keen ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • ITIL certified (Foundation v3 or v4) 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies
  • Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or working with analytics is a plus

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Manage several competing priorities

 

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location Assignment:  Hybrid - onsite an average of 2.5 days per week or as needed by the business
  • Travel requirements - less than 5%/year
