Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst at Relational, you will be responsible for gathering, eliciting, and documenting requirements in the form of Functional Specification documents. You will participate in designing, developing, and testing workflows and business rules using Relational’s platform, MITOS, to deliver modern, large-scale enterprise software solutions for our customers. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team of diverse competencies and seniority levels, working in an Agile-inspired environment.

 

On a daily basis, you will collaborate with Product Owners, the Development Team, Support Team, Quality Assurance Team, and customer representatives to manage the full product lifecycle. You will also participate in retrospectives to discuss and continuously refine our working processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, elicit, and document requirements into Functional Specification documents.
  • Design, develop, and test workflows and business rules using MITOS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in retrospectives to improve and refine working processes.
  • Contribute to design efforts for large software development initiatives.

 

Requirements:

  • University or College Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field; MSc/MBA will be considered a plus.
  • Experience in Business Process Modeling.
  • Comfortable contributing to design efforts of large software development initiatives.
  • Positive attitude and a constant learner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
  • Fluent in English.

 

Nice To Have:

  • Familiarity with Banking environments & Loan Origination Systems.
  • Experience with REST API’s (XML, JSON) and SOAP.
  • Basic understanding of BPMN 2.0 notation.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of lean/agile practices and working experience with methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
  • Fluent in Jira, TFS or other collaboration tools.
  • Working experience in teams.
  • Availability to travel abroad if required.
