ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of its client, a distinguished commercial company, is actively seeking a proficient Accounting Manager to join their team.

Accounting Manager (Ref. code: 5351/AM/ESS/GR)

The chosen candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and play a pivotal role in ensuring robust accounting compliance and reporting.

Main Accountabilities:

Spearhead and supervise all accounting operations, ensuring meticulous tax compliance and timely, accurate reporting in adherence to legal requirements.
Prepare financial statements in alignment with local GAAP standards.
Guarantee precision and timeliness in reporting, including meticulous review of balance sheets and income statements.
Monitor accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with auditors and consultants on financial and tax-related matters.
Drive system optimization and refine operational procedures.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting department, fostering a culture of growth, teamwork, and professional development.

Candidate Profile:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a management role within accounting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or ACCA qualification is highly desirable.
Signatory right A' Class.
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and fiscal compliance practices.
Proficiency in working within ERP environments and strong Excel skills.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Greek.
Exceptional people management skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated integrity and firm commitment to excellence.
