Starting with the role:
Currently, we are searching to hire an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team.
During your day you will:
• Create, update and monitor Vendor’s Master Data
• Register of invoices (OPEX/CAPEX), duties, payable rents and prepayments for 4 legal entities.
• Prepare electronic payments, issue checks and bank letters
• Be responsible for G/L entries related to payments and supplier accounting
• Reconcile of vendor accounts and bank accounts
• Archive vendors’ invoices, payments, receipts, vendor forms and approvals
• Monitor POs (Purchase Order). Immediate communication to the po creators and budget holders for every mistake or SAP’s problem that requires an IT support.
• Perform Monthly Sales Clearing of Service Station Managers and register and control of Managers' fees for the MAKRAION Company
• Participate in Accounts Payable projects
What you need to stand out:
- University Degree in accounting, finance or relevant position.
- Master’s Degree will be considered as a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant position
- Good understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices,
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with SAP,
- Verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English
