Gerolymatos International AEBE presently requires an Junior Inventory Accountant  to join our team and support the daily accounting and financial operations of our company.

Main responsibilities

·          Issue and account for credit notes related to customer returns, in cooperation with the Sales and Warehouse departments.

·          Review and reconcile customer returns with delivery notes, sales invoices, and company return policies.

·          Calculate and record the cost of domestic purchases (raw materials, goods, consumables).

·          Assist in the allocation of purchase-related costs (freight, discounts, and other expenses) to product cost.

·          Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate accounting records in accordance with local accounting standards.

·          Participate in monthly closing processes related to costing and customer returns.

Job Requirements

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another appropriate academic major.

·        2+ years of working experience in accounting department is mandatory.

·        Excellent use of accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)

·        Analytical thinking and attention to detail

·        Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

·        Teamwork and collaboration skills

·        Good knowledge of the English language
