In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Income Controller / Invoicing Auditor.
Position Summary
The Income Controller / Invoicing Auditor (corporate) provides direct support to the Income Auditors/Income Controllers, in destinations of hotels/resorts. This role is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all hotel revenue records. The position focuses on assisting with daily revenue audits, system reconciliations, and report preparation.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Assists the Income Auditors of destinations, in reviewing and verifying daily revenue transactions from all outlets (Rooms, F&B, Spa, Events, etc.)
- Ensures all supporting documents, approvals, and backup reports are complete and in line with hotel SOPs.
- Assists in training new staff on basic revenue procedures under the guidance of the Income Manager.
- Dispute resolution: Resolves disputes and inconsistencies regarding pricing, payments, and billing with customers and partners.
- Monitors payments received from travel agencies, corporate accounts, and online platforms.
- Follows up with agencies on overdue or outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records of agency invoices, remittances, and correspondence.
- Reviews aging of travel agents’ accounts, as well as advanced deposits (security allotment, EBD, Groups etc).
- Αudit of travel agencies’ contracts.
Requirements
- Previous proven experience in a similar position in Hospitality, income auditing roles, Reservations or Front office.
- Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of Financial Concepts: Understanding of basic financial principles such as revenue, payments, credits, payment deadlines and debit accounts.
- Ability to manage multiple processes at once, organize time efficiently and keep track of details.
- Ability to work effectively with team members and collaborate with different departments of business.
