Altair Travel Agency is a leading online travel agency (OTA), specialized in flights and ferry tickets with an organic digital expertise.  We operate in Greece via www.petas.gr and worldwide via www.tripair.com .Our headquarters are located in Palaio Faliro.  

 We are currently looking to hire a Junior Accountant to join our team.  

 Job Responsibilities 

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. 

• Assist in monthly reconciliations (customers, suppliers, credit cards).  

• Assist in any ad hoc projects on requests 

• Participate in audit and reporting requirements. 

• Provide customer support via email in relation to financial matters 

Required Skills for candidate 

• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance 

• 2+ years of relevant work experience 

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, procedures, and their practical application 

• Familiarity and competency with MS Office products 

• Proficiency business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English 

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with strong communication skills 

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills 

• Organized, able to multitask and work under pressure.
