A fast-growing group that operates boutique hotels in Athens and other European cities is looking for a Senior
Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Entry of accounting transactions (expenses and purchases of fixed assets in the company’s accounting system)
• Issuance of income invoices and other documentation
• Monitoring and reconciliation in myData platform
• Cash management and monitoring/reconciliation of bank accounts
• Monthly reconciliations between sales from PMS and Online travel agencies
• Monthly reconciliation of payable and receivable accounts
• Preparation of supplier payments, taxes and contributions to the Tax Authorites
• Management of Fixed Assets Register
• Preparation of monthly tax returns, list of contracts etc
• Preparation of various reports including reports to our Head Office
• Participation in additional monthly and annual financial reports
• Participation in the payroll process

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant for at least 3 years
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of taxation (VAT issues, Income tax, and withholding taxes)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in IFRS would be a plus
• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP would be a plus
