Job Description

As a Maintenance Tool Technician, you will be a member of the Blade Grinding Team, responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Grinding tools. You will ensure a smooth and efficient Blade Grinding process by providing the necessary grinding tools, to satisfy the production demand in a safe and cost-efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Schedule the preparation of grinding tools (wheels-hones leathers) by planning the necessary tool machines and materials, according to annual blade production plan.
• Purchase all the critical materials for the Blade Grinding process and control the stock of all these materials at regular intervals.
• Establish & implement the annual preparation plan of grinding tools.
• Operate and maintain properly the tooling machines used for grinding wheels-hones-leathers processing.
• Provide the grinding production with all the necessary tools at the right quality level.
• Propose actions towards the improvement of the grinding tool performance.
• Takeover or participate in technical projects related to Grinding Process.
• Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) meetings and support all the tags which are related to grinding tools.
• Record and keep updated all the critical knowledge of Grinding tools.
• Follow up indicators related with the grinding tools (final hones productivity).

Qualifications

Required

• Technical Institute Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years of prior relevant working experience
• Prior hands-on experience using machining equipment like milling, drilling, lathe, grinding etc.
• Certified with minimum license of Maintenance Technician (Mechanical)
• PC literacy (i.e., MS Office)
• Ability to work in rolling shifts
• Fulfilled military service (for male candidates).

Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of Quality Systems / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
