About the role:
kariera.gr is expanding, therefore we are looking for a talented Senior Back-End Εngineer to join our Product Team. You will be responsible for building the 'server-side' of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company & customer needs into scalable web applications that handle millions of data. If you're passionate about creating high-performance web applications then we look forward to connecting with you. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies & aspires to use web application technologies to serve thousands of concurrent users.

You will be a part of a full-stack Scrum team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing S/W development from the initial specification through to developing, testing & launching.

You will:
👉 Work as part of a Scrum team developing applications & services using Agile development methods.
👉 Contribute to team & organizational improvements in process & infrastructures.
👉 Code, test & operate Node.js based services.
👉 Effectively use tools & ingenuity to identify & fix defects before they become a problem.

Basic job requirements:
· In depth knowledge of Node.js.
· Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols & web server optimization.
· Experience working on a large-scale system, making it faster, more scalable, & fault-tolerant.
· Be highly collaborative, participate in code reviews & discussions about architecture or system design.
· Lead & help your team members improve & evolve.
· Strong analytical skills & problem solving aptitude

Nice to have:
· Experience with type safe JavaScript based languages, such as TypeScript.
· Experience with various architectures, design patterns & testability (frameworks, performance, e2e tests).
· Experience with NestJS or other similar frameworks.
· Experience with PostgreSQL.
· Experience with React/NextJS (in case you are interested to have a full-stack based workflow).
· Experience with Docker/Azure/Kubernetes (in case you are interested to collaborate with our DevOps team).
