We are seeking for our customer (3rd party logistics provider, based in Attiki) a 

Route planning manager (RPM 0123)

• Oversee and follow-up daily route assignments to ensure servicing customers as per company standards.
• Review weekly demand for routes, determine potential gains from re-routing and suggest re-routes to routing specialist.
• Communicate with team members to instruct and update them on daily workload.
• Establish and oversee productivity, service and safety targets for route and driver.
• Ensuring that drivers have adequate training on safety rules and regulations
• Monitoring fuel prices to ensure that routes are not affected by price fluctuations
• Conducting training sessions on topics such as customer service and safety procedures
• Lead and develop the Team of Schedulers to ensure that all the necessary inputs (such as access requirements, materials, equipment, resources, etc.) have been considered and will be available.
• Provide timely resolution of arising operational issues and be the focal point on a day to day basis..
• Provide production performance information and metrics, review KPI’s performance and make recommendation for the long term planning
• Monitor and report on transportation costs
• Research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
