Job’s Purpose
Finance Business partner is a member of the Finance Team that actively partners with the departments of responsibility, providing financial information and analysis to senior management helping them make more informed decisions and driving business strategy. Their role is to deploy scenario analysis, business cases, investment proposals, benchmarking tools to advise best omnichannel business decisions and drive value by supporting and advising on strategic direction.
What you will focus on
• Work closely and partnering with Operations’ line managers to support them in developing a financial strategy to improve business performance.
• Develop necessary benchmarking tools for the effective target-setting and monitoring of the Business.
• Analyze financial indicators (KPI’s) deriving from stores’ operation. Cooperate with Districts Mgrs to support in resolving any concerns or difficulties with the financial performance of the area of responsibility.
• Be responsible for preparing Monthly reviews analysis for all functions in scope (stores, supply chain, construction dpt.).
• Create reports and dashboards documentation in Power Bi. Data analytics. Data visualization
• Support, challenge and help to develop reliable forecasts and budgets prior to formal reviews by the leadership team
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget, quarterly forecasts and month end close processes, by partnering with Operations & Supply Chain Directors/Mgrs, providing necessary data.
• Monitor and review the pipeline of stores, the investment proposals and real estate deals, the progress of CAPEX and OPEX spending against budget and forecasts, the suppliers’ and constructors’ evaluation, the payments for real estate certifications of constructors or developers based on the company’s credit policy.
Who we are looking for
• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any other relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in a large Greek or Multinational company preferably in the FMCG or Retail industry. Experience in similar role will be considered a strong asset.
• Finance or Business with analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Power Bi, Knowledge of SAP BW, is also an asset.
