THE ROLE

To assist in Managing all engineering/maintenance operations with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection under the maintenance manager supervision.

THE DUTIES

• To maintain the efficient operation of all Mechanical and Power plant: Kitchen/Laundry Equipment, Gym/SPA/ Swimming Pool Equipment etc.
• To collect information daily and proceed to any needed actions from all associated departments relating to any form of equipment or defect that may contribute to the disruption of the hotels day to day operation.
• To ensure hotel maintenance plan is fully up to date and implemented. Assists and supervise any needed non-scheduled works.
• To manage an effective rooms maintenance program.
• To ensure compliance with all Engineering departmental policies, standards and procedures.
• Be aware of Health and Safety regulations, Fire Precautions and Fire Fighting Legislation.
• To follow up on the Budget of the department (Energy Consumption, Renovation expenses etc)

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Degree in Engineering (mostly preferable as electrical engineer) or similar studies
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language. Third language (Russian, German etc) will be considered an asset.
• Very good IT knowledge.
• Current knowledge of modern trends and applications in the field of Engineering.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and relevant certificates.
• Should be excellent team player and professional.
