The most suitable candidate should be able to fulfil below criteria,
Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
Manage communication including emails and phone calls
Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages
Schedule appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed
Maintain and order office supplies
Procures supplies to keep vessels and shore facility stocked with inventory parts, consumable and non-consumable supply items.
Coordinates with outside contractors and vendors
Involved with tasks as bunker intakes and agency appointments
Completes daily administrative functions including computer work, clerical tasks, correspondence, purchase requests, telephone, email, ship scheduling
Communicates constantly with vessel’s crews, inner office staff, port offices
Coordinates installation of equipment for use on vessels. Coordinates removal, overhaul and reinstallation of shipboard equipment and machinery.
QUALIFICATIONS
-A degree or diploma in Nautical Sciences.
-Experience of minimum 2-3 years
-Good communicator, reasoning, and analytical skills
-Required to operate industry standard computerized systems
