Senior Sales Executive (Chemicals)

Optimal HR Group, on behalf of its client a top multinational, Protective & Marine coatings company, is looking for a Senior Sales Executive (Chemicals)  

The primary purpose of the Senior Sales Executive (Chemicals) is to build strong, long-lasting relationships with customer portfolio of the Protective Coatings within Greece and to achieve budgeted turnover and margins in accordance to company strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Sales Manager
  • Being the vital link between the company and Clients
  • Managing client requirements & objectives within deadlines
  • Managing a portfolio of Key Accounts
  • Work with Sales Manager to draw up a detailed business plan providing detailed information on selling into the chosen target segments to achieve set budget
  • Develop, implement and manage an effective customer visit plan
  • Visiting/meeting main contractors and subcontractors
  • On site visiting projects
  • Assisting Company’s global protective net
  • Creating specifications under requested standards using CRM
  • Support technically customers in an efficient way through onsite visits, making technical reports and project follow up
  • Track projects and generate enquiries
  • Run in a daily basis a customer portfolio consisted by existing a new customer (through specification offering and orders handling)

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an Industrial Sales Executive and/or Sales Engineer and/or Technical Sales position
  • University (AEI / TEI ) Degree in Engineering / Automation / Chemistry / Material Science is a plus
  • Active industrial clientele
  • Excellent knowledge of English Language both written and oral
  • Ability to understand and anticipate complex network of Sales
  • Person who can take initiative and yet act within processes 
  • Decisiveness and integrity
  • Results driven
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
