ASOFIN Management SA [part of Onassis Group of companies] is looking for an Associate Accountant - Back Office to join the team and perform end to end monitoring and reporting support with a focus on Treasury operations of the Group.

Main responsibilities include:

• Monitoring, updating, conducting reconciliation and reporting of capital investments and other business development projects (Listed Equities, Fixed Income Securities, Derivatives listed & OTC, Private Equities and Loans)
• Back-office work and daily accounting/bookkeeping (updating MIS, books, and records)

• Working closely both with the Investment team to produce ad hoc financial reports according to their needs and the Treasury team to monitor liquidity and proper funding of capital investments and other business development projects
• Issuing, obtaining signatures, corresponding with banks and update records for various payments/transfers
• Assisting in the production and preparation of interim financial reports and annual financial statements ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of all financial instruments in accordance with IFRS
• Working closely with the Treasury Team to ensure the accuracy, integrity and completeness of all financial information related to investments and financial instruments including gathering and appropriately recording Mark-to Market valuations of investments and to produce Periodic Management Reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Eligible candidates should meet the following requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• Postgraduate degree or an accounting professional qualification will be considered as advantage
• Previous working experience in a relevant position (3 years)
• Good knowledge of IFRS especially in relation to accounting for financial instruments
• Fluency in English language (verbal and written)
• Familiarity with SAP and MIS environments will be considered as advantage
• Excellent command of all MS Office Applications (especially Excel)
