Alphabit is looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join its dynamic team for its office in Athens, Greece. Main tasks include installation and maintenance of IT systems, network and security systems administration, user support and training. This is an on-premises placement.

Responsibilities

• Install, Configure and Maintain IT (network and computer) systems.
• Respond to failures or security incidents of IT systems.
• Maintain, repair and upgrade operating systems (hardware and software).
• Maintain operational security and uphold best-practices for IT systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related subject.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a relevant position.
• Fluency in both Greek and English language.
• License to drive a car and/or a motorcycle.
• Fulfilled military service obligation.

Skills

• Administration of corporate IT environments.
• Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity systems.
• Problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivation and incentive.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional certifications are a plus.
