Reliability Technician

Purpose and Objective

• Ensuring the execution of all reliability testing (ORT, HASS, ESS, etc.)
• Ensuring that robustness tests are performed in a timely manner with the appropriately maintained equipment
• Ensuring that all product failures during reliability testing are reported
• Ensuring the due diligence in collecting all needed evidence of compliance of products or of failures.

Key Performance Indicators

Adherence to the reliability schedule as follows:

• Ensuring the due diligence in collecting all needed evidence of compliance of products or of failures.
• HASS (Daily)
• ORT (Quarterly/Annually)
• On time execution of all ESS Reliability schemes

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Responsible to perform the ORT process
• Responsible to perform the ESS process
• Responsible to perform the HASS process
• Responsible to report all equipment failures and malfunctions to the Reliability Engineer and/or Maintenance team
• Reporting the performance of the reliability tests to the Reliability Engineer
• Supporting the Reliability Engineer in the failure investigation and the corresponding report issuance
• The ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedure manuals, schematics, data books, handbooks

Core Technical Skills/Competencies

• PCBAs knowledge
• Electronics knowledge
• ISO, VDA, Process Auditing
• Continuous improvement projects, methods, tools
• Understanding requirements and specifications
• Knowledge of test and qualification methodologies

Required Skills

• Technical degree in Electronics/Electrical/Informatics or equivalent
• Advanced English language knowledge
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Tracked record on experience in an Electronics testing environment
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
• Experience in issuing test reports
• Basic knowledge in 5S, ESD Control
• Capable of using Microsoft Office (Power Point & Excel)
• Detail Oriented
• Capable of reading and understanding technical documents
• Ability to work autonomously, participate and communicate in cross-functional teams
