The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a company established to plan, develop and build the TAP natural gas pipeline which will bring Caspian natural gas from the giant Shah Deniz II field to Europe.
The pipeline in Greece will be approximately 545 km long, starting at Kipoi near the Turkish-Greek border (where it will connect with the Trans Anatolian Pipeline - TANAP), and finishing at the Greek border with Albania, south-west of Ieropigi. The pipeline will then cross Albania and the Adriatic Sea to Southern Italy, where it will connect to the Italian gas transportation grid.
TAP's shareholding is comprised of BP (20%), SOCAR (20%), Statoil (20%), Fluxys (16%), Total (10%), E.ON (9%) and Axpo (5%).
TAP AG has its headquarters in Baar, Switzerland and offices in Athens, Tirana, Rome and Lecce.
Currently, TAP employs approximately 80 oil and gas specialists from many countries and more than 200 experts from contracted service companies.
Our employees are fundamental to the success of our project. We aim to identify, attract and retain the most qualified candidates and are committed to helping them develop their careers with us.
