PwC is recognised as an inspiring place to work. It offers a rewarding career and opportunities to work internationally and you’ll find a supportive team that will welcome you and help you reach your goals.
At PwC we know that people are our most valuable asset - an asset that true market distinction is built upon. Our focus is on the individual, not just their technical expertise. That’s why a career with PwC gives you a range of opportunities to work with top clients and industry leaders in an environment which inspires, motivates and rewards people to succeed.
We have become one of the world’s largest professional services network of firms because we excel in what we do. But what is it exactly that we do?
Our global network
PwC firms help organisations and individuals create the value they’re looking for. We’re a network of firms with 225,000 people in more than 157 countries who are committed to deliver quality in assurance, tax and advisory services.
PwC in Greece
PwC in Greece has offices in Athens and Thessaloniki with over 1,000 employees and is the largest professional services firm in Greece. We provide Assurance, Tax, Accounting and Advisory services to organisations in Greece.
At PwC we recognise that we need more than just good academic qualifications. A good academic record is obviously important but in our experience, it is well rounded individuals who succeed.
There are four behaviours that outline PwC’s culture and the way we work:
Enhancing value through quality
Efficient planning and performing work according to client requirements is something we value. Our people must demonstrate courage and integrity by promptly addressing problems or issues in the workplace and should maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in the work environment.
Putting ourselves in each others’ shoes
At PwC we value this trait and reward individuals who strive to reach higher standards in their interactions with their colleagues and clients. We treat each other as we ourselves want to be treated.
Sharing and collaborating
By sharing insights and best practices with each other we become more knowledgeable, perform stronger as a team and are able to bring our clients real value.
Investing in relationships
When you work with people to develop solutions, it is important that you invest in relationships with both clients and colleagues. All the good work and positive impact you achieve have to be sustained by growing relationships.
It is not just about the salary and benefits package. There are many other things that make a career with us rewarding.
Every day, you will have the chance to gain new skills and put them into practice. Every employee has access to a wealth of knowledge through our local and global networks.
The learning begins with a structured on-boarding programme when you first join us. This is an opportunity to pick up basic professional skills, as well as a chance to meet your new colleagues. You will also be assigned a coach who will guide you throughout your career path. There will be continuous learning and development, and full sponsorship for specific qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIA, CISA and many more).
International work experience
Through the Global Mobility Programme we give the opportunity to high performing individuals to travel abroad on secondment. They gain valuable experience at other PwC offices worldwide and upon their return they are able to share new expertise, valuable knowledge and unique experiences.
Fitness and Fun
We encourage our people to be part of our sports teams and represent our firm in tournaments both in Greece and internationally. Our sports activities include soccer, basketball, half marathon and trekking.
Walk the red carpet
If you are more creative you are welcome to join our Theatre group. Once a year our PwC people perform on stage, and leading up to the production there are acting classes led by theatre professionals. Try your hand at acting or if you feel more comfortable, be part of the “behind the scenes” troupes.
Pen to paper
If you have a flair for writing, join our Newspaper team. Every three months we issue an internal newspaper titled “The PwC Times” that informs all employees and alumni of the latest news and developments. The articles are not only business related but include features on social activities.
We will be more than happy to provide you with more information and answer any questions:
