WORKING EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
One year experience in a microbiological laboratory (preferably under GMP)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Minimum requirements:
Technological Education Institute / Post-secondary degree (T.E.I. or I.E.K.) in Biology, Chemistry, Food technology or relevant fields.
Good knowledge of the English language (CEFR Level B2)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Training in GMP principles
Performs microbiological and bacterial endotoxins testing on pharmaceutical preparations, water etc. and holds responsibility for recording raw data promptly and accurately in appropriate lab notebooks and instrument logbooks.
Performs growth promotion testing.
Performs culture media preparation.
Performs routine environmental monitoring, including air sampling, surface sampling, and purified water system sampling/testing.
Assists with the maintenance and/or periodic calibration/qualification of the microbiological laboratory’s equipment and instruments.
Identifies, documents and reports OOS and deviations that may affect results.
Holds responsibility for the tidiness and the cleanliness of the laboratory area.
Provides assistance to the Microbiological Laboratory Officer.
