Gerolymatos International AEBE presently requires an Information Systems Support Specialist to join our team. and be responsible for first-level support, troubleshooting issues, supporting users, performing basic system administration and training, and maintaining overall business applications stability
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for users across the company, ensuring smooth operation of key business systems such as ERP, WMS, and SFA. You will play an important part in maintaining business continuity, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to ongoing system improvements. This role will report to IS Manager.
Main responsibilities
- Provide analysis and support for the company’s ERP, WMS, SFA and business applications, addressing user requests and incidents promptly and effectively.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and data-related issues to ensure smooth system performance.
- Perform basic system administration and contribute to maintaining system stability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and reports to support troubleshooting, data analysis, and decision-making.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to escalate and resolve complex technical or functional issues.
- Participate in system testing, data validation, and user acceptance activities during new implementations or upgrades.
- Document issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures to enhance knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Train and guide end-users, promoting best practices and ensuring effective use of systems and tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in an ERP/WMS/SFA support or Information Systems role.
- Good knowledge of SQL (querying, data validation, troubleshooting).
- Basic understanding of ERP systems and business processes such as Finance, Logistics, and Sales.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Sales Force Automation (SFA) platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
- A team player with adaptability, customer focus, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
