About the company:

A Leading multinational manufacturing company is currently recruiting the role of Accountant. The primary activity of the company is the production of metal containers. It is the market leader in Greece serving the biggest International and Local Customers mainly in the food and chemical sector, through its two factory sites.

What you will do:

• Booking of Invoices (Purchase Orders Bookings, Services, Travel Expenses)
• Booking of accruals and pre-paid expenses and contribute to monthly closing
• G/L postings
• Creating Investment Orders and Fixed Asset Bookings
• Issuing non-commercial Invoices (services, rentals, interest income etc)
• Preparing Intercompany Reconciliations
• Running and checking Depreciations
• Reviewing Payroll Bookings (automated), reconciliations and related checks
• Preparing tax & ELSTAT statements
• Handling over GEMI certifications and applications
• Liaising with Statutory Auditors for tax certificate and annual statutory audit
• Preparing SOX Control documentation

What you need to have

• BSc degree in Finance, Economics or related field
• 1-3 years working experience
• Excellent Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good knowledge of SAP
• Excellent Interpersonal skills - Business Acumen – Results and deadline oriented
• Fluency in English language
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Outstanding reporting and communication skills
• Project oriented
