For our operations in Greece we are currently are looking for a System/IT Helpdesk Supervisor in order to strengthen our IT Infrastructures Department.

 

Activities:

 

  • Coordinating activities during the shift
  • Supervising the processing and production staff
  • Guiding and supporting operators, checking the correct execution of the planned work
  • Coordinating technical interventions in the case of malfunctions
  • Participating, in collaboration with other corporate functions, in the solution of management problems and improvement of existing procedures in order to prepare reports for tracking of problems upon occurrence of malfunctions
  • Being responsible to manage people and assess the performance of team members
  • Ensuring the execution of specific strategic functions and implementing high-end, business-wide, critical strategy
  • Providing guidance, planning and direction for business unit under his scope, maintaining budgets and proactively allocating resources and time for the business unit they support

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous working experience a similar position for at least two years, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree at Information Technology and/or Certifications or equivalent working experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows
  • Knowledgeable in configuring mobile Operating Systems (iOS and Android) would be highly appreciated
  • Advanced technical knowledge of Hardware and System software for desktops and laptops will be considered an advantage
  • Must have ITIL knowledge and experience in one or several ITSM solutions (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
  • Experience in leading virtual teams
  • Excellent written and oral command of the English language

  • Excellent communication (written & oral), customer service and problem solving skills
  • Managing multiple business stakeholders in various countries /stakeholder management
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision upon agreed project and team targets
