PHP Developer

The PHP Developer will build functional systems that improve customer experience in a team of engineers and collaborate with Product Managers, QAs, and with Architects to ship new components and features. He will participate in the company’s drive to microservices, microapps and the reengineering of its platform.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of a team of engineers that craft the company’s backend API endpoints
• Give and receive feedback in the form of code reviews
• Create performant and scalable solutions using PHP 7/8
• Build complex and high scalable technical solutions in close cooperation with the Tech Lead and the Product Lead as well as the Product Manager
• Draft architectural decisions and ensure reliable and state-of-the-art products
• Work within a stable environment with an agile working culture using methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
• Work in an agile team with flat hierarchies and very short decision-making process

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a PHP software engineer or a similar software engineering role
• Proficient with Git and Git workflows
• Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of caching techniques and patterns
• Great knowledge of REST and contract-based development
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or RabbitMQ will be considered an advantage
• Collaborative team spirit and problem-solving attitude
