The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for successfully managing an experienced sales team in the B2B sector, on behalf of our client, in the computer software industry. By demonstrating strong communication and influencing skills he shall motivate and drive the team to achieve results and manage change effectively to improve sales operations and performance.

 

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Deliver an agreed set of KPIs to meet the marketing and sales SLAs
  • You will collaborate with the recruitment team to hire and onboard new talent for the sales team
  • Support and encourage the personal development plans for each team member
  • Ensure that the team is enabled on campaigns, promotions, and messaging (industry and competitive) to targeted industries, segments, and accounts
  • SFDC lead queue management, reporting and data analysis to ensure disciplined execution is in place to identify positive and negative emerging plans
  • Promoting the best use of sales development tools within sales teams and sharing best practices between countries and groups [i.e. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, SFDC]

Requirements

  • Fluent in English (at least C1) both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of the German language will be considered a plus
  • Strong In-person and virtual communications & presentation skills
  • Capable of networking across the company, building and managing cross-functional virtual teams
  • Previous experience working in a matrix environment with regional stakeholders
  • Professional with solid planning and analytic skills. Project management expertise is a plus
  • Proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial problem solver, you constantly generate new insights for driving and supporting divisional priorities through Sales Programs.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required. Salesforce.com experience is a plus
  • Results-oriented, quick learner, with a strong teamwork spirit
  • A positive approach, self-motivated with a desire to succeed and achieve targets
