Head of Procurement

Job profile 

Overall accountability for the professional execution of procurement task.

• Pro-actively drives and leads ongoing productivity programs within Dunapack and with suppliers on total cost and service solutions
• Owns the local SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) with local suppliers in partnership with stakeholders
• Prepare annual bidding project plans for local bidding and aligns with Division Procurement
• Develops and maintains supplier performance measurements (KPIs)
• Offer evaluation
• Communicates and aligns effectively planned initiatives both within procurement as well as with functional stakeholders
• Provides local expertise for industry dynamics including economic/market conditions, complexity of players and contingency plans to address unforeseen outage while keeping the agreed budget
• Criteria definition, market research and supplier evaluation
• Communication and negotiation with suppliers
• Control and monitoring of supplier contracts
• Order tracking
• Cooperation with contracting departments

    Candidate’s profile  

• Profound knowledge of procurement methods and techniques (incl. strategic sourcing), supply chain, applicable laws and regulations)
• Strong business and financial acumen with ability to evaluate, analyze and solve issues
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to build effective business relationships
• Strategic thinking
• Knowledge of SAP
• Excellent command of English language
