Hiring Solutions | kariera.gr is looking on behalf of HERACLES Group, a member of Holcim for a Health & Safety Manager (located in Evia).

The responsibilities of the Health & Safety Manager include the promotion and implementation of Health & Safety Rules and Standards in order to achieve the continuous improvement of the workplace environment and a safety culture of 0 incident.  

More specifically he/she:

• Facilitates the design of annual H&S Improvement Plan (HSIP), monitors and follows up the implementation of HSIP.
• Ensures that OH&S policies and legal obligations are up to date and effectively respected at plant. He/She challenges and influences the organization on Group H&S Management System (HSMS).
• Accounts for H&S KPIs monitoring and reporting and takes corrective actions in case of deviations from targets.
• Accounts for and coordinates proper investigation and analysis (RCA) of serious incidents and accidents, for communication of key lessons and the implementation of the corresponding action plans.
• Develops safety culture and communicates H&S procedures through design and implementation of training programs, mobilization activities and communication campaigns.
• Conducts structured and ad-hoc H&S inspections and audits.
• Communicates deriving findings and he/she cooperates with the person in charge to implement corrective actions and follow-ups.
• Supports the implementation and health monitoring of the employees.
• Designs and runs annual Industrial Hygiene plan, analyzes results and promotes corrective actions.
• Consults plant personnel on necessary safety measures for the execution of high risk jobs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in heavy industry (preferably in production or maintenance department)
• Knowledge of cement manufacturing procedures and equipment
• Basic knowledge of production and maintenance operations
• In depth knowledge of H&S legislation and LH H&S rules and standards
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis techniques
• Fluency in written and spoken English language
• Excellent use of MS office, SAP
