Main responsibilities

• Runs the company’s’ MRP, releases manufacturing and purchase orders, coordinates the flow of material throughout the production cycle.
• Aligns the demand with the supply plan in order to organize and optimize supply chain flows & repeats this action on a weekly level.
• Assists the optimization of the stock level of the finished, semi-finished products and raw material of the plant making sure that material resources are consistent with production schedules and the stock value meets the needed availability by the customers.
• Identifies current and potential shortages, develops, and executes recovery plans.
• Periodically evaluates safety stock levels to ensure customer service levels and net working capital targets are fulfilled.
• Determines the production plan on a weekly basis to ensure that production deadlines are met taking into consideration the stock levels as well as the customers’ orders.
• Creates the weekly loading schedule and confirms the shipment date of customers' orders in the ERP.
• Identifies and revises on a regular basis the requirements for raw materials, under the supervision of the Supply Chain Director.
• Manages the documentation of the import of raw materials.
• Develops, tracks, and improves key performance metrics consistent with business objectives

Qualifications – Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Logistics/Operation Management/Supply Chain or related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience as a material and production planner.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Proficient use of MS Office tools and experience in ERP, preferably Microsoft DIS
• Fluency in English both oral and written
