Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Reports to:  IT&MO Manager

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist operates in the heart of VWFS in the financing, insurance & leasing market. He/She should have excellent communication and test management skills, familiarity with project management and business analysis methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. The Quality Assurance Specialist should deliver high-quality projects deliverables on time.

Main responsibilities

• Active participation in project design phase. Conduct requirements gathering sessions, document business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.

• Check quality of the project deliverables, before the business acceptance testing phase.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases to identify defects and ensure that all applications are functioning as expected.
• Document defects, report problems found and work closely with the development teams of each project for their resolution.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders, to ensure that projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Produce supporting material, work instructions or update processes where needed according to business requirements.
• Manage projects of limited scope or portions of large/complex projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with equivalent work experience and relevant certifications will also be considered.
• Prior experience, 2 years in Quality Assurance testing or business analysis in the Information Technology or Banking sectors.
• Basic understanding of software development and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent command & usage of Greek & English (at least C1 level).
• Experience in project coordination and familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking & problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
