Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and monitor accounting journal entries.
• Reconcile bank account balances with accounting records.
• Prepare payment orders and submit them to the Chief Accountant.
• Handle and record expense reimbursements.
• Manage documentation related to contracts, service orders, purchase orders, and suppliers.
• Assist in invoice processing and vendor payments.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
• Support monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate cost allocations.
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or book keeping (preferably in a corporate or concessionaire environment).
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills in Greek and English.
