Description

Ella Resorts is a newly established hospitality management company, boasting a collection of eco-chic hospitality properties. In 2023, Ella Resorts will be operating a portfolio of 6 lifestyle & family resorts on the islands of Rhodes & Corfu, offering exceptional quality and service excellence.

We are currently seeking for a Quality Manager. The quality manager's responsibilities include inspecting materials, processes and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed by all employees. Monitors compliance with government regulations regarding environmental protection, food safety, fire safety, and other safety requirements. Conducts training sessions on quality control methods and techniques to ensure that all employees are familiar with best practices. The quality manager provides quality support to projects from the planning phase to project completion. Investigates customer complaints regarding safety and quality issues and develop a solution. Reviews data from internal audits and investigations to identify problems or determine whether corrective action is necessary.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with current regulations.
  • Monitors and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Monitor the performance of quality control systems in all departments of the hotel to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Produce reports regarding non-conformance of processes, quality of daily operations, root cause analysis, or quality trends for all the processes carried out in the hotel’s departments.
  • Verify that raw materials and finished food items meet established quality standards.
  • Direct testing and inspection activities throughout all departments like kitchen, F&B services, Housekeeping, etc.
  • Ensure that all departmental procedures adhere to quality standards.
  • Inspect all the areas of the facility like kitchen, service counter, guest service area, store, etc. to ensure compliance of all the set standards.
  • Undertake the facility/internal audit as per set schedule.
  • Ensure there is no contamination of food at any level of food handling within the organization.
  • Check the quantitative parameters of food quality assessment as per national and international quality standards.
  • Determines data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans.
  • Performs regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies.
  • Assists with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Provides departments with quality planning and support.
  • Conducts or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions.
  • Prepares and maintaining quality management documentation.
  • Follow effective waste management and recycling practices at workplace.
  • Complying with ISO accreditation requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in a related field.
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9001, 22000,14001, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with quality systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
