Προμήθειες / ΑγορέςThe Purchasing Αssistant follows the agreed Purchasing Process in order to maintain material pricing, forecasts and material flow. The Purchasing Assistant will work directly with the Purchasing Manager on the definition and implementation of new material and supplier strategies - purchasing cost savings projects, Supply Chain projects - that require purchasing, supplier engagement and optimal inbound material flow.
Responsibilities:
- Placing orders for specific categories
- Executes effective negotiations for materials, including pricing and Terms & Conditions
- Accountable for optimizing packaging material inventories
- Leverages Supply Chain data in day-to-day function
- Develops documented understanding of market structure and drivers for his/her materials, and identifies opportunities and threats for the future
We are looking for someone with
- University degree in Chemistry, Mechanical engineer, Chemical engineer or similar
- Excel (advanced knowledge)
- English language usage at Proficiency level
- Preferable experience in Planning/Logistics/Purchasing
- Preferable Master’s degree in Business Organization, Business administration or similar
