Howden Hellas Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers S.A., member of Howden Group Holdings, is seeking to hire a Motor Insurance Line Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible the development, performance, governance and administration of the Motor insurance department, to produce an efficient service and delivery solution, maximizing efficiency, performance and best value against pre-agreed targets, same as,

for the retention of current insurance motor clientele and placement of new business, the assurance of clients’ satisfaction building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and accomplishing business deals.

 Key Responsibilities

• Managing, directing, and monitoring insurance activities and the overall performance of the team to increase efficiency and maximize performance;
• Τraining, set action and targets, coaching and general support of all team members to ensure targets are met;
• Delegating authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability, and review;
• Cultivating and maintain excellent client relationships;
• Identifying the client’s risk and insurance needs and objectives;
• Reviewing and negotiate complex insurance policies to mitigate exposing the Group to unacceptable risk;
• Preparing broking submissions, negotiate and place all type of insurance policies to the insurance market;
• Receiving claim notifications and liaising with the claims department in order to provide clients with the best advise prior to submitting claims to insurers;
• Following up claim status regularly until they are resolved, and client is reimbursed.
• Monitoring renewals, making sure client’s cover is always in place, providing on time information, payment instructions and possible improvements.
• Resolving clients’ complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions
• Assisting with the interpretation of insurance wordings and product development;
• Retaining always updated systems, database and records;
• Keep all relevant parties informed regarding account status and general business issues;
• Ensure that the company’s workflow systems are updated promptly to reflect the current status of any risk;
• Reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis or as otherwise required;
• Adjusting content of sales presentations.
• Set and deliver budget objectives (growth and profitability).

• Analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Key qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance Science, Statistics, Finance or related field;
• Certified as Insurance Broker;
• Proven experience within non-life insurance business (ideally 5years);
• Excellent use of Greek and English language (verbal and written);
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office).

 Position: permanent contract
