We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to help us build and maintain reliable services, by combining software engineering and systems engineering skills. The ideal candidate should ensure that moving fast doesn’t mean sacrificing stability, quality, performance, or maintainability. Additionally, s/he must have the attitude and skills to automate every process as much as possible, so as to satisfy our hungry customers.

What you’ll do:

• Be an integral part of our service, actively contributing to the design and implementation of solutions on a day-to-day basis
• Architect and develop solutions for highly resilient services
• Develop automation to help deploy our services and maintain its operational health
• Work in a high-paced environment, with different Agile teams and stakeholders
• Be part of a small team, involved in the end-to-end delivery process
• Participate in setting up and maintaining CI/CD for the release process
• Design the infrastructure with the Security aspect in mind, implementing Security-by-design architectures
• Own the overall monitoring and support of the infrastructure and services

What you’ll need:

• BSc in Computer Science, or equivalent area of a technical study
• At least 3 years of working experience in a similar role
• An engineering background with deep computer science fundamentals
• Experience with any of the major Cloud vendors, preferably AWS
• Hands-on experience with configuration and infrastructure management tools (eg. Terraform, Ansible)
• Background with the build-out of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
• Experience with container orchestration and management technologies (eg. Docker, Kubernetes, EKS) will be considered a plus
• Good understanding of networking technologies: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, Load Balancing, Routing, and Firewalling
• Experience in implementing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems (eg. Prometheus stack, Grafana)
• A strong team player attitude with excellent communication skills
• Superior analytical skills and a strong sense of urgency and ownership in your work
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (English is a must)
