The accounting team of Bodytalk S.A.(Bdtk) seeks an Accountant (Assistant) to work at the company’s Athens headquarters. This position provides a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team.

The role entails

• Being member of the accounting team
• Take responsibility for the delivery of tasks, as directed by the Finance manager
• Seeking opportunities to develop own expertise by taking on greater responsibility and/or more technically demanding tasks
• Maintenance of category 3 books according to Greek Tax Legislation, for medium size services companies, including balance sheets, tax returns, VAT returns and all other tax requirements according to Greek Law
• Executing tasks regarding Tax Compliance
• Preparing reports
• Being up to date on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Income Tax & VAT (indirect taxes)
• Bookkeeping according to Greek GAAP
• Assisting in preparing annual and intermediate financial statements
• Preparation, filling and follow up of tax returns

The successful candidate should have

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, or accounting & finance
• At least 3 years of previous working experience on accounting & taxation matters
• Strong verbal and writing skills both in English & in Greek
• MS Office literate (familiarity in the use of excel files and related functions) 
• A confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and third parties at all levels
• Military services completed for male candidates
