The opportunity
We are currently seeking highly motivated people to join our Risk Transformation and Internal Audit team of EY Greece Advisory Services, which is a leading provider of advisory services in Greece. Being part of the Management Team of our Risk Transformation  and Internal Audit sub-service line, you will be managing teams of EY professionals aiming to deliver quality services to our clients. You will enhance your knowledge and experience across a wide range of domains and industry sectors, including risk management, corporate governance, internal audit, internal controls, process design and process optimization/transformation, compliance, analytics & foresights. You will also be participating in market, sales and business development activities for our Advisory Services. As part of our team you will be expected to take on responsibility early, while continuously developing your personal skills through learning, experiences and coaching.

  • Managing engagement economics.
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with clients.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and proposals.
  • Delegating, supervising and supporting the development of team members.
  • Possess in depth business acumen and demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
To qualify for the role you must have:
  • Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a Bachelor and a Master degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology or other related field.
  • Professional certifications such as: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Prince2 Professional or PMP certified.
  • Proficiency with MS Office is a prerequisite. Knowledge of IT architecture and network design, business and accounting information systems (Accounting, Billing, Payroll, ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.) will be considered as an asset.
  • Seven or more year’s previous experience working in a professional services, public or private sector organisation, having gained considerable experience in the following areas:
  • Enterprise Risk Management design, implementation, operation and review.
  • Governance, risk and compliance functional experience.
  • Risk assessment, mitigation and remediation.
  • Process design, optimization/transformation.
  • Internal Audit & Internal controls.
  • Regulatory compliance.
  • Financial analysis, key performance indicators, and financial accounting.
  • Project management.
  • Multi-sector & international experience will be considered as an asset.
  • Strong written, verbal communications skills and presentation skills in English. (Fluent English is a pre-requisite. Knowledge of additional languages will be appreciated).
  • Ability to work under tight timelines.
  • Demonstrates integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.
  • Ability/flexibility to travel on overseas assignment as the need arises.
  • Completed military obligations (where applicable).
