We are seeking an experienced person for the position 

Project Manager (Sales)

Background & Purpose of the Job
The job holder will need to bring the Ice Cream Brands’ social purpose to life in the process of building a value adding business of mobile / seasonal vending. 

In this role you will:
  • Work together with the sales team to spot the best business opportunities for mobile or seasonal vending.
  • Define the social purpose scope of the program together with the sustainability and communications teams and plan the execution of relating activities. 
  • Approach local NGO’s that can support the execution of the purpose field activities.
  • Introduce the program to the local municipality to unlock licenses in the opportunity areas.
  • Negotiate with customers (operators) so that they hire a vendor and implement the program.
  • Engage and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Manage execution and all related operations together with the sales team such as delivery of selling systems, visibility materials, activity materials and clothing.
  • Track progress in terms of number of vendors, incremental sales, and any KPI’s set up around the local purpose field activities.
  • Report on progress.

Experience Required
  • Mid-seniority manager with experience in sales and project management. 
  • Expertise in engaging cross functional teams and managing internal and external stakeholders will be highly appreciated.
  • Experience in entrepreneurial work environments and kick -starting pilot projects will be valuable. 

Candidates’ Required Qualifications: 
  • Postgraduate degree in Business / Economics
  • Fluency in English. 
  • Digital savvy
  • Very good interpersonal, organizational influencing skills to succeed in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong business mindset but also able to look beyond and make stakeholders enthusiastic about the social and environmental impact.
  • Great Project management skills.  
  • Responsive, adaptable and flexible to change
  • No military obligations pending for male candidates.
