The SandBlu Luxury Resort project is a contemporary resort envisioned as a modern Cycladic village, with common areas organically dispersed along a sprawling 30+ acres plot, nestled in the serenity of ancient Thyra foothills. 

The SandBlu Luxury Resort is hiring Sous Chefs

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and refining all food menus to meet the resort's standards of excellence.
  • Ensure the production of high-quality dishes that excel in both presentation and taste.
  • Supervise kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and uphold quality standards, ensuring timely service.
  • Step in for the Executive Chef as needed to oversee food preparation and direction.
  • Proactively address and resolve any kitchen-related issues, demonstrating effective problem-solving skills.
  • Lead and mentor kitchen staff, establishing work schedules and evaluating performance.
  • Manage inventory and place orders for supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor when interacting with staff and guests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Science or a related field, or equivalent certification from a culinary institution.
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a supervisory role within a kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of effective kitchen and staff management.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
