Εποχιακός/ήLouis Hotels, one of the biggest hotel groups in Greece and Cyprus, is seeking to recruit an individual for its hotel on Mykonos Island
Sous Chef
Main Responsibilities:
- Planning and designing menus for eating establishments.
- Calculating costs and liaising with suppliers.
- Directing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff.
- Overseeing the food preparation, cooking, and cleaning processes.
- Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations.
- Liaising with the general manager to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Culinary.
- 3 years’ minimum experience as a Sous Chef in a 5* Hotel.
- Excellent command of English language is essential; knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered as an asset.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, guest oriented and with a hands-on operations management approach.
- Excellent MS Office, PMS-Computer skills.
