Outside Sales Engineer, Athens

We are looking for an autonomous and energetic Outside Sales Engineer for our Isolation Business Unit in Athens. You will be responsible for all related sales activities and strategic targets in Greece.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Actively promote and visit customers to sell our products, solutions and services in Greece.
  • Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability.
  • Work with other Business Units to sell higher-level solutions, leverage opportunities & win new Emerson customers.
  • Seek new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to new customers and industries.
  • Negotiate with customers relevant business contracts – including discount, price and volume structures.
  • Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization.
  • Oversee, ensure and personally support the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transaction.
  • Prepare an annual booking budget by period and be able to forecast client’s business activity.
  • Continuously drive the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs.

WHO YOU ARE:

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Engineering / Technical Degree.
  • At least 3 years sales experience in related field. 
  • Good presentation and customer interface skills with proven capability of deep understanding of sales process and customer relation building.
  • Highly developed communication and business negotiations skills.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
  • Willing to travel in the region and internationally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Experience in a matrix organization.
  • Proficiency in another European language.
