The opportunity

We are currently looking for a Law professional specialized in Energy Law to support our expanding Energy Law Team and help our clients active in all aspects of the energy sector. As member of the Energy Law Team you will work on complex and challenging projects, assist clients in relation to energy regulatory and transactional matters while also anticipating and identifying risks within engagements and actively establishing internal and external relationships.

To qualify for the role you must have

• 2-3 years of work experience, preferably with the Regulatory Authority for Energy or a law firm with a focus on energy and corporate law or as inhouse legal counsel in the energy industry.
• Familiarity with transactional and/or advisory work in energy law (e.g. energy regulatory law, renewable energy law, electricity and natural gas , fuels and infrastructure). Good understanding of corporate law.
• Experience in energy project development and financing and/or environmental and sustainability law, is highly desirable.
• Qualification as an attorney-at-law in Greece.
• Strong academic record and a Greek university degree in Law. An LL.M. in energy or environmental law will be considered an asset.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality, detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English. Keenness for legal research in these languages.
• A willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities for development in a non-traditional legal services environment.
• Self-motivation and desire to exceed expectations.
• Substantial MS-Office knowledge.
