Description

We currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated Software Test Automation Engineer, passionate with development and maintenance of Automation Tests for the company’s applications and fluent in English. You will be preferably based in our Athens or Thessaloniki office, but remote work will be possible to a certain degree also after the pandemic. In the context of the first assignment, you will be integrated in a Project team for a major client.

Main responsibilities and Tasks

By applying your knowledge and experience you will participate in the design and development of automated tests for large-scale web-based applications. More analytically you will be engaged in:

• Design, development and maintenance of automated tests in close cooperation with the development team;
• Automation of the test execution and result reporting to the development team;
• Contribute to the evolution of testing processes and methods.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent;
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment;
• Fluency in English; German knowledge is considered a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in automation testing;
• Knowledge of Software Life Cycle (SLC), Continuous Integration (CI) as well as Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies/strategies;
• Knowledge of: SQL, Docker.

Experience in some of the following area:

• E2E testing using Protractor or Selenium frameworks;
• Mobile testing (e.g. Appium);
• Frontend Unit testing;
• Backend unit and integration testing (e.g. TestNG, Junit);
• Mocking tools (e.g. Mockito, Wiremock);
• API testing tools (e.g. SoapUI, Postman, Rest Assured);
• Load and stress testing tools (e.g. JMeter);
• Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines executed in Jenkins slaves.
